Cap'n Warren Miner

Bio

My Name is Warren Miner. Some call me "The Cap'n." I grew up on the west coast mostly in California. I worked on old American muscle cars and had a hand in many restorations and hot rod projects. I was introduced to speed boat and hydroplane racing as a teen and had a great time at that for a while as well.

I love the sea but not the sharks and other menacing creatures within it! (Wink)

Life... and I are a mystery sometimes but I have loved every minute of it! I moved to Colorado (Grand Junction) about 20 years ago and have since bounced back and forth as I just can't resist the sea air and watching the ships and waves as they roll in and out again. I started writing poetry about 6 years ago because I realized I was not going to get any younger and it just broke me heart! An' maybe due to a bit a heartbreak in me own personal life as well? Being born a Libra I am a very deep hearted person and I have always treasured the beauty of God's creation and especially the beauty that is you, "EVE."

It wasn't long before I realized that I was becoming stagnant with squishy love poetry so I started incorporating my love of the sea and sailing into my love of poetry.

Thar Be Pirates is the result of that marriage of me styles. I do have two other books as well and I will be considering putting them up for advertisement if I do well with this one. So I am like "EEYORE" here.

Thanks for noticing me!
And Thanks for Reading!

Reviews

The main text opens with "A Pirate's Toast" and brings to life the stirrings of emotion and heart as it grips you in anticipation of the next tale to be told! Many more tales of love and heart to follow. It takes you for a virtual trip from cover to cover. "Sailing on a sea of love." Good read, Cap'n!
