When the economy tanked, the rest of the world discovered what we struggling artists have known all along—being poor stinks outloud.
But art goes on, and just because you're not making money with your poetry is no reason to quit. Plus even if you wanted to quit, you couldn't.
We know, because we're poets, too. We got published, sold some copies to some friends, and then tried to come up with other ways to get our poetry out there. When we looked for on-line chapbookstores, we realized there weren't any.
And that's how we got our start.
